Anyone know why the staff writer on Fear the Walking Dead changed?

I had been crediting David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick with the attribute "as David Johnson" for the staff writer on season 5. Up until this week, that's what all the episodes had. This seems likely as Johnson-McGoldrick is a producer and a writer on The Walking Dead. Someone changed this to Johnson, David (CXLIV). It is quite possible that there are two separate David Johnsons working in the Walking Dead universe but it seems somewhat unlikely. Does anyone know for sure?

They also removed Johnson-McGoldrick's writing credit for the episode Channel 4.
