Ok - a bit weird - but I'll give it a shot. I remember some programme on TV in the 1980 that was either a mini-series or a TV movie - It followed a group of couples living in an American suburb who worked for NASA. The men were astronauts and went off on a mission but ended up decending into "Hell" which was their own suberia - but everything was in a blood red light (no phones worked etc. - can't remember much more than that. Is this familiar to anyone?
