Hi Christina,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! We focused our efforts on developing the apps for iOS and Android based on customer usage and requests, so I'm updating this topic to an "Idea" so other users can weigh in.

Fingers crossed that you guys could make a windows 10 compatible app. Just because I do technically have a tablet/laptop. I believe thats what windows 10 is good for. Tablet mode, so that be sweet. especially for me as I've been using your app on my iPhone forever, so for sure I'd love to set it up on my tablet.

Thanks so much for listening.

But I wonder, if they can do the app for android and iPhone couldn't it be done for my surface? I wouldn't need it to be a browser. Just an app.

Developping for iOS, Android or Windows are three different big efforts. I understand that IMDb choses to invest where people actually uses its services.

And with one single browser, you access all websites, whereas you need one app for each different service. Which take (a lot of) space or your device memory. And a workstation's screen will always be richer and finer than any tactile screen, even the Surface 6!

But I support your proposal to widen and enrich our IMDb experience.

Yes that is quite true, and it is rather easy to just save/book mark the more used websites. I quite like IMDb and use it lots, so if they did end up developing one I'd be getting in a snap.

christina beaudette,
Vincent Fournols,
you both are simultaneously on both sides of this matter )))

Skype for Windows is now a kind of app based on Chromium (that is browser indeed). I bet if IMDb creates the app for Win at nearest future, it will follow the same technology.
