I wanted to scan old shows for my recently deceased sister-in-law, and all 4 seasons show up... but the TV picture is blank. Is there no video, or I just didn't pay to watch it.. .or what?
Also.. Do you have to JOIN and pay to watch all shows?

IMDb is a database of information about films. With very few exceptions (and these are primarily short independent films), IMDb does not serve any video (except trailers).

If Amazon, the company that owns IMDb,  or one of its affiliates has the film for streaming on on disc for rent or sale, IMDb tries to include a link on the Title page, but you are likely to have to pay at those sites for any major film.

Other than that, you are basically on your own finding copies to watch. If the Title page for the film you are interested in has an active Message Board, they may be able to suggest venues where the film is available.

Another point I forgot to make in my previous reply:

Press Your Luck is a game show, and unless stars are involved it is extremely unlikely that a game show will be released to home video; there just will not be the market to make it financially viable.  A show like Hollywood Squares that had a number of known personalities on each show just might be released, although I consider it quite unlikely; however, a show that just involves unknown members of the public would not be. I'm sorry, but I very much doubt that you will be able to find copies of your sister-in-law's appearances.

However, Press Your Luck aired entirely during the 1980s, so most likely all of the episodes still exist. Furthermore, the show is currently being shown on both Game Show Network and Buzzr TV. So you may want to ask on the show's IMDb message board at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0136655/board/ or on other game show discussion forums for help in finding a way to view your sister-in-law's episode.
