Are game Cinematics a creditable entry for a person? if not can it be?

As there is very much a film aspect to this for of computer animation hen the name Cinematic is this a creditable category for a member?

I might have misunderstood the question, but if someone is on the credits of a title (an eligible one for inclusion on IMDB) and that is their role then there is no reason this shouldn't be listed.

Looking at IMDb's page for the game Diablo III, first game that sprang to mind at the moment, I can see a section for Animation Department, with at least two credits for cinematics. So yes; if the game is eligible to be added to IMDb, and you're credited for Cinematics in its credits, you should be eligible to be added to IMDb through it.
