When someone ignores a user on the IMDb message boards, the ignored user's name and avatar appear on the ignoring user's "Boards Profile" page.

However, for some users, the problem is not necessarily what they write on their posts -- but their avatars. As has been mentioned on this board, there is one person who has created a large number of usernames and used pornographic images as his avatars for many of them. So when I reported and ignored nine of his usernames recently, those nine names and avatars appeared on my Boards Profile page. Granted, the images are quite small and hard to distinguish, but I would prefer not to have them on my Boards Profile page. Alternatively, I could remove them from my list of ignored users and thus the avatars wouldn't appear on my Boards Profile page, but that would mean that I wouldn't be ignoring the user any more and I would see his posts on message boards that I frequent.

So my recommendation would be to just display the ignored user's name (but not their avatar) on the ignoring user's Boards Profile page.
