Award correction

THERE'S A "UNITED FILM FESTIVAL AWARD" LISTED ON my WHEN IT RAINS... feature that belongs to someone else with a short film of the same title.  Please see that the cast and crew are completely different.  The only award that should remain for WHEN IT RAINS, which hasn't yet been released, is the one from the RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2018 as a WORK-IN-PROGRESS -- my film is undergoing color correction, sound mixing and credits as of this date.  WHEN IT RAINS... HAS NOT BEEN RELEASED.  My page should read WHEN IT RAINS... (2019).  Please let me know.  I have been at this for months.

Migdia,

This topic is tagged as solved. You'd better create a new one.

Please note that, as per IMDb rules ,and  as long as your film has been shown at the 2018 Richmond festival, it will bear the (2018) date, even though the official premiere is in 2019.

Migdia: If you find that an award is listed on your film's page that actually belongs to a different film of the same title, the way to fix that is to go to the page for the award ceremony (see https://www.imdb.com/event/ev0004150/2017/1) and submit a deletion of the incorrect film and an addition of the correct film.

When it rains screened at Chelsea as a 16.5 min short film with two characters. Everything was reworked and reshot to make an 80 min. film for 2019

It was screened at Richmond as a work in progress. I was happy and grateful to see it on the big screen. But it had no discernible sound nor color grading nor proper credits.

I still don’t know how to remove a film award to the wrong film listed on our film page. Why can’t imdb remove it? It’s obvious. The awarded film in question is a short with different people in it. WHEN IT RAINS is a feature at 80 mins and with a diverse cast. I have tried different things and nothing works. Thanks to the people who have taken the time to respond and offer help.

It sounds like you need two title pages here, one for the short and one for the feature.  Similar to Whiplash (2013) vs. Whiplash (2014)

The existing title page should be used for the short since it came first. You should correct the information on the short version and then add the feature version as a separate new title.
