  • Maya Bijou Public Bang, aired in September of 2018 titled and produced by Bang Bros of Miami, Florida did not get clearance, sign offs, or any sort of film permit to shoot in and around Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Ivan Itzkowitz, producer, director, location scout and subcontractor for Bang Bros was the person responsible for this content to be shot illegally. Local law enforcement and the Broward Alliance which is the film commission office of Broward County were informed.

In conjunction to this film he shot several other "public bang" porn films with other known porn actors using other locations illegally. One being the Seminole Indian Reservation Lands, Hard Rock Casino parking lot, Florida Dept. of Transportation Highways like the Florida Turnpike, overpasses, hard hat construction sites, State Beaches run by Fish and Wildlife, A1A (Ocean Blvd) with tourists walking by, private property without consent and knowledge, an artist studio using copyright art displayed on the film with no trespassing signs above, in front of a local church, a business building across the street using a golf cart without permission, a privately owned Mom and Pop glass company business without their consent shot on a Sunday when the business was close and in view of cars going in each direction on the Florida Turnpike causing a dangerous traffic accident, an open car junkyard, another construction site adjacent to and on the Florida Turnpike, city streets and sidewalks and last but not least an active railroad tracks with scheduled train schedules to be delayed and owned by East Coast Railroad System and shared with a new fast train system, Brightline. All scenes were in plain view with anyone in a car or on foot could witness.

These filming locations list for this film, Maya Bijou Public Bang should be removed with the business names and addresses as each business was canvassed for verification of the filming in which none gave permission and they were working with law enforcement to report if anyone attempting to shoot there again. The Mayor of Fort Lauderdale, Fort Lauderdale PD, Broward Sheriff's Office, Hollywood PD, Dania Beach Sheriff's Office, Davie PD, Seminole Indian PD and Broward State Attorney were both informed on this illegal activity taking place in their community.

Not only was the content uploaded, sold and distributed it was also on all pornstars and Ivan Itzkowitz Twitter account for viewing and advertising. Many images showed a selfie of Ivan Itzkowitz in front of the scenes being shot.

A storage center, a well known paint store, highway signs, and many other signs were also in display during filming and used in the content sold.
  • Summary: Locations from this film were not cleared for usage of all public commercial properties.
This was covered by a local investigation team called Investigation 6 with NBC Universal in Miami, Florida as a human interest story.

Hello, Lisa Collomb Gandolfo

Could you please, specify what the problem is?

If you suggesting that filming locations should be removed from those listed on IMDb, since they are factual it won't be possible. Many small independent productions (both adult and legit) get away with shooting the footage with little to no permits. Information seems most suitable for IMDb as a trivia item.

Lisa: IMDb is primarily in the business of providing information about films and television shows. That includes information about who made the films, when, where, and how. If the filmmakers did something illegal while filming a production, that is not IMDb's fault. You cannot expect IMDb to suppress information about filming locations which you yourself have already confirmed in this thread.

To look at another example, think of Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983). You have probably heard of the helicopter accident in which three actors were killed on the set. Director John Landis and four crew members were prosecuted for manslaughter (although they were acquitted at trial). But I doubt anybody would think that means that IMDb should remove the film from the database due to illegal activity during the filming.

Similarly, I can understand your referring Bang Bros. to the local police, sheriffs, and prosecutors, and they may find some charge to bring against Bang Bros., but they would never find a valid charge to bring against IMDb merely for reporting the fact that the porno film was made at certain locations.

I hope this helps.
