13 years ago, there was a poll to find Britain's Best Sitcom. Now, at the time of modern media, I've got a list of sketch shows produced in the UK. Which one is your favourite?

That link shows a list which could be an idea for a poll.

Hi David Roberts,

The link back in your list (http://www.imdb.com/list/ls069182596/) currently goes to a dead link:

Please update the link back in your list to go to this thread:

Please change the title of the list to:

DC,

The IMDb Editors are using this web app for guidance:
Capitalize words with four or more letters (AP style)
http://titlecapitalization.com/

That web app indicates the following capitalization.

DC, you're obviously not using the same style guide as the editors. And as Dan said, the one he lists is the one we should use.

It changes if you choose the 'AP Style' option. The main difference between the styles is four-letter words.

Apparently we mistakenly used 'from' as an example of a lowercase word in the 'So You Want to Make an IMDb Poll?' post; I'll fix that later.

If this goes live, I predict Monty Python will take 50-60% and Mr. Bean 20-25%.

Hi and welcome to the GS poll board,

'Well constructed poll, especially for your first one: kudos. If you have any questions, pretty much everyone around here is nice and definitely helpful. : )

I've only seen a few of these but "Jam" looks like something I would love to see.

I wouldn't recommend using the alphabetical order, on the top of the list, there should be the three most successful and worldwide popular ones: Benny Hill, Monty Python and Mr. Bean.

Also your back link doesn't work

I've just updated the list and corrected the problem with the back link. The link to the list is still the same.

David Roberts,

Thanks for correcting the link back. It now works as it should.

Thank you for also updating the title. I've edited the title of this thread accordingly.
