The country Bhutan is listed under Locations as "Bhutan, Himalaya". Although Bhutan is in the Himalaya mountain range, "Himalaya" is not a country and Bhutan is not a city in it; it is an independent country, whose official name is "Kingdom of Bhutan". Its name in "Locations" needs to be changed.

Frank: Has this problem been fixed since you posted this message? I'm not seeing "Bhutan, Himalaya" under locations myself. For example, the only location listed at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2335096/locations is just "Bhutan".

Actually it wasn't a filming location, it was a birthplace location (my mistake). I entered "Bhutan" as a birthplace for a particular actress and was notified that the only one listed was "Bhutan, Himalaya". That's the "location" I meant. Sorry 'bout that (it still needs to get changed, though).

Frank: I see this problem in the birthplace locations now.

For the staff's reference, I see that Harald Kippenes (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2428452/) and Pralhad Gurung (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm6336114/) are currently listed with a birthplace of "Bhutan, Himalaya"; if there are other people listed that way, I haven't seen them.

As Frank indicated, Bhutan is an independent country and should just be listed by IMDb as "Bhutan". Saying someone was born in "Bhutan, Himalaya" would be somewhat like saying that a person was born in "Switzerland, Alp", and the data needs to be corrected accordingly.

Thanks for reporting the two inaccuracies, I have now adjusted the birthdate details for those individuals and "Himalaya" should be removed shortly.  Cheers!
