Hi frankfob2 -

As Col mentioned above, we generally will not accept birth/death date submissions when we cannot verify the source.  Please review our guide for further details on what sources we consider.  If you are unsure whether a source you have used is valid you are welcome to ask us here and our staff can take a look to confirm, otherwise, if you feel the data was incorrectly rejected you are welcome to submit again with all verifiable evidence and our staff will take another look.

Nah,I'll just stop submitting them altogether. Seems as if the only way to "verify" a birth date is to have the person walk into your office and plop down a copy of his or her own birth certificate; anything else seems, for some reason, to be unacceptable, so I just won't do either birth dates or death dates anymore. It's not worth taking the time and effort to research and submit them only to see them dismissed as "unverifiable"--one of the birth dates I submitted that IMDb considers  "unverifiable" came from a biography of the man written by his son, but, hey, what does he know, right?--so I just won't do them at all anymore.
