Can no longer export other people's ratings

I'm not sure when it happened, but IMDb now no longer allows exporting of other people's ratings. For 6 years, a small portion of my forum community (100+ members) participated in sharing their links, which would be automatically downloaded by one person every month and calculate our own community's 'highest rated' film lists. Now this is no longer possible.

Why does IMDb want us to be able to share less and have less features than before? What's the point in making your site less useful?

I know. It is quite the travesty. Maybe things will be better in year 2020.

Hi mightysparks,

I've forwarded this feedback to our technical team and they are currently looking into this issue. For the time being, I would recommend having the members of your community export their own ratings, then share the Excel doc to aggregate your ratings.

I'll keep you posted here of any updates.

Cheers,

Steve
