For TV series that were cancelled, how is the cancellation noted in their episode or title data? Thanks.

It can be found in the news articles section for that title.

Hi rootsmusic,

Have you got an example? Was the title cancelled before it was produced or were there episodes that aired, then the series was cancelled?

Regards,
Will

Usually ”cancelled” just means that the series ends after X seasons (often one or two). I would say that this type of info could be added to Trivia.

If the title aired trivia is the best place to report a series cancellation, you can also request a series end year for the title by using the Contact Us form selecting IMDb Fan/Contributor questions > Titles > Edit series end year options using the E-mail button to report this directly to staff. If, however, the title was cancelled before airing then the title page should likely be removed. This can be reported to staff via the Contact Us form selecting IMDb Fan/Contributor questions > Titles > Delete a title options using the E-mail button.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
Will

I was thinking that “cancelled” can be a title’s status (like “filming”).
