Cannot add or remove items from watchlist

Hello,
I have been trying to clean up my watchlist and everything worked fine at first, but now I can't add or remove items from the watchlist.
Here's what happened:
  • I removed 47 items from my watchlist.
  • I hit refresh to see the updated list.
  • All was fine up to this step. Then I hit the problem.
  • I sorted items by genre
  • I hit the remove button (green tag) for some films
  • The number of items in the watchlist did not go down, even though the button changed to the grey plus sign
  • I hit refresh again. Items I had tried to remove were still there with the tag restored to the green checkmark
  • I removed all sorting and tried removing some other films. Same behaviour of tag going grey, number not down, refresh showed no change
  • I tried removing films from their own page and from the imdb home page, no success (loading for a few seconds and the tag appears unchanged)
  • I tried adding films, no success (loading for a few seconds and the tag appears unchanged)
  • I tried incognito (I was on chrome), switching browsers(firefox), switching to the android app, but none worked
  • I can no longer add nor remove items from the watchlist
I would appreciate some help with this.

I would try setting up a new account and change password. That may help the problems you're experiencing.

Thank you for the details on what you did to cause the problem. This may help the IMDb Technical staff isolate the problem.

You reported the problem for the Android app and Kindle Fire app.

Using the Android app and Kindle Fire app:
When you go to a title page, does the watchlist button still work?

From the IMDb website while logged in:
Have you tried accessing your watchlist from the IMDb website?
When you go to a title page, does the watchlist button still work?
