Cannot change title's Primary Image

If you think the title should have a different primary image selected, please follow the guidelines listed below. It's also worth noting that all suggested changes are subject to the discretion of IMDb data editors and we will step in to override these guidelines if we feel it's pragmatic to do so.

The replacement primary image should strike a good balance between the following criteria:

 Movies:
The most iconic and widely-recognized poster, of the best image quality, matching the title's country of origin.

 Episodes:
Still frame of acceptable quality which best represents the episode's plot or key characters in that episode.

 Series:
The most iconic and widely-recognized poster, preferably from the original airing of the first season. The poster should be of the best image quality, matching the series' country of origin.

To suggest a primary image change:

1) Navigate to the image you wish to become the primary

2) Click 'Edit Tags'

3) If the image is eligible for use as the title's primary, the form will have the 'Primary Image' option at the top, just underneath 'ABOUT THIS IMAGE'. Click the drop-down arrow.

4) Tick the box 'Suggest as primary image for ...'

5) Explain 'Why should this be the primary image (optional)?'

6) Click 'Submit'

It woild be much appreciated if IMDb looks into this problem. Those who contribute images well know the current very limited way to change primary image and that wasn't my question in this post. Please read it if you haven't. There are images which are not posters that are better than current primary images which are not posters either! But one is not allowed to suggest them!

Apologies VVP 14, I've amended the primary images as requested on these titles. Generally we would prefer the primary image type to be a poster for the title but I agree that in these cases these images are definitely better choices.

If you do need to make changes like this then you can still use the http://www.imdb.com/helpdesk/report_photo queue to submit an update.
