Tozaki: Since Arigatô ga ienai (????) has no release date, no votes are supposed to be accepted for it. IMDb would need to have some indication that the film has already been released before they will accept votes for it. Notice that on the film's page at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5043772/, it says "voting begins after release".

If the film has been released, please submit a release date for it at http://www.imdb.com/title/tt5043772/releaseinfo.

Thank you for your explanation. I can confirm it.

As my main concern is old movies, sometimes its release dates are unknown, I had not thought that case.

BTW, I think IMDb  could accept year entry something like 196?.

Tozaki: Thanks for the additional information. When I first saw your question, I thought that you were referring to a recently made film.

Do you have any information about the release of Arigatô ga ienai anywhere, in any medium, at any time? How and where did you see the film?

In both the default view and the reference view, I was able to submit a rating
(as a test).  (I have not seen the film, so of course I've deleted my test rating.)
