Can't Post Quote

Tried to post a quote from Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes in the item for episode 8 [War Is Hell] of Ken Burns' The Civil War. The problem reported in the rejection is that Oliver Wendell Holmes is not a 'character' in the series. However, his quotation is the opening of this episode.

Who actually spoke the line? The narrator? If no known character actually spoke the line, I can see why that was rejected and you may have to add it to trivia.
