It is a sporadic problem that seems to be caused by the list being unavailable (you can check by going to Your Lists which shouldn't have anything on it). It might be an occasional glitch (they have a lot of databases and if one isn't talking to another...) or it might be part of the plan (they might run a process once or twice a day to rebuild the lists as static pages, from dynamic data).
Long story short: yes it happens to me too but if you wait a few minutes they come back.

Actually my problem seems to be diffrent. First its been more than a month since i added any movie to my list(because i dont get add icon). The only options i get are "watch trailer" and "Share". Secondly i can see my watchlist and all the movies i had added earlier are there( about 1400 movies) . any solutions?

Are you missing the yellow Watchlist button completely? Someone else here reported a problem that the downward pointing arrow next to the Watchlist button was missing and I suspect they are the same problem.
Can you provide a screen capture of the problem?

Yes I've not seen that before.
Can you access your lists through Community >> Your Lists?
If so it sounds like a browser issue so try this:
* A hard refresh CTRL + F5 in Windows
* Shut down your browser, log out, perhaps reboot and log back in again.
* Try a different browser and see if the button appears.
It should be possible to kick your browser into working again and give you back the Watchlist button.
It worked for someone else having a slightly different problem:

Internet Explorer is probably one of the worst browsers around (it is no real surprise that the problems were coming from this) and leaves you open to all sorts of web-based attacks, so you are better off using another browser. I gave up on Opera many moons ago and use Firefox most of the time, with Chrome as a back-up - it is one of the most standards compliant too.
Anyway, rant mode over, glad to hear it is all working now and congratulations on getting a better browser ;)
