Hello. In the past few days, it seems I can't connect to message boards. I've been a user since 2005 and this is the first time it is happening. IMPORTANT: This happens only when I try to connect via my home PC. I can get through from my work PC or others!! Why is that? There is not a problem with my personal PC..Sometimes, I can see the topics but when I click on them I get an "Error 500". Other times, I can't even see the topics.

In order for our technical staff to nail down this issue further, we will need more information, specifically, when you see the 500 Error you will also see a quote and a report link.
Please send a report from that link each time you experience the error, our technical staff will then be able to review these reports and better identify the problem.

I created another account and have no problems, so for me the issue was related to fiddling with my account settings, particularly with message board preferences but also making my ratings available to the public, if it helps.
However I would like for this issue to be resolved so I can resume the use of my original account which is jakeb-9.

Spoke too soon...now even with my new account I cannot view boards...
I deleted the cookies associated with iMDB.com and now I cannot view boards even when logged out.
What is happening?
To clarify, I can view the main message boards of iMDB.com and the threads there, but when trying to open the message boards of a particular movie, bam 500 error. Again, logged out and yet get this...

I have the same problem... I tried using different computers with different systems, tried using all kinda of browsers, heck, I even moved to another city and still have the same prlblem, and yeah, I logged out too, same problem everywhere

yeah I did that several times, although the button doesn't seem to work as if I didn't push it. I guess the report sending isn't displayed. Hope they fix it though
Actually the "Report this" button is a mailto link, which creates an automatic log of the error in the email body and you have to send the email manually.
I have sent it already cca. 3times. Nothing has changed.
Moreover I have created a new account too. Nothing helped and I have lost my 7 years old history and membership on IMDb. :(

delete acc? what? why would you delete the old one if you could either just wait till they fix it or create a new one?
No, I did not delete my account. Actually I have about 6 different email addresses so if I'd had to create a new IMDB account, I could have easily done it with one of my other email addresses.
