I have submitted numerous times over the past two years. I can't delete my trivia and I should have a right to. A lot of it is too much information and I don't want a future employer to hold it against me. In fact I could have lost work already!

When you submitted your trivia you did so under the IMDb Conditions of Use which contains the following :
Your License to IMDb: If you do post content or submit material, and unless we indicate otherwise, you grant IMDb a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content throughout the world in any media.
Note the words perpetual and irrevocable.
This is not your page; it is IMDb's page about you. It may make it a bit easier to accept that the items almost certainly won't be removed if you keep that fact in mind.
It is a "database" which means it is update-able, dynamic. It is about me, my public profile. I should have the right to make changes if anyone, I have an "account" and I am a user. Users are what drive the website. So far I cannot even update. That's just not right.

As far as "update," we can all do it. But remember, we're sending a request that one be done. Site staff either accepts for rejects it. What is keeping you from submitting updates?
No one has said you can't make changes. In fact that's what we've recommended that you do (I said it, twice, in my first reply to you). Update or correct the data. What you (or me or anyone else using the site) can't do is delete data. Me and you do not have any right to do that. You can say you should have the right as many times as you want...won't make it true.

Many people add things then ask for them to be deleted. The site doesn't delete it though, if accurate. And, since you say it was you who added it, that would be evidence it is accurate.
People have gone as far as legal action and the site still didn't delete.

I have no idea what you've been doing or where/to whom you've been saying that. Am I to assume you're talking about making a new bio? To replace an old one, you should re-write it with updated info and if possible, more info than the first one.
Instead of hiding this issue inside an old thread from 10 months ago, can you post a new thread? If you've made a recent data submission, post the submission ID numbers and ask staff to check on the status and see if there is something more you can do. Also, in the thread, if you describe what needs correction and what you've done to try to make the correction, other users might be able to advise you on what to do.

I have a list of trivia that needs changing due to repetition. When I go into correct/delete only 1 trivia out of 7 appears for me to change. How can I access the rest. Thanks!

The most common reason for this type of disparity is that the items were added very recently and have not percolated through all parts of the site yet.
It is hard to diagnose a problem without data. Please supply details. Give your IMDb name (and preferably also a link to your page) as well as noting which items you cannot correct.

As well as what BMSF has said, I really don't see anything too problematic about the trivia, certainly nothing that'd impact on your employment (unless the person employing was a lunatic - which is not impossible in the industry, but then again, would you want to work for someone who was so obsessed with Jack Lord?):

As has been said, you'd get work on the strength of your previous work - the only thing the trivia might have an effect on is it gives anyone interviewing you things to have a chat about.
So, unless there is something I'm missing, there isn't anything to worry about. If there is something you think might be problematic then it'd be possible to edit the trivia to... tone it down a little, rather than remove it.

What do you mean "rejected or ignored?" Did you get some type of message telling you it's rejected or are you assuming it because it the change did not appear yet? If you just submitted it yesterday, there's no way it would have appeared yet. It can take from a couple days to up to a couple weeks to appear.
I too have requested that invalid/inaccurate trivia and spouse information be removed for a number of months and it never changes. My bio changed when I submitted an update at the very same time. It just bothers me a little that if it's accuracy they want and you tell them it's not actually accurate and want to correct it so that it is, then shouldn't it just be corrected and be done with? It can't be harder to accept a change request for trivia and spouse (I've never been married, by the way haha) than it is for bio.

Looking at the larger picture, though, IMDb cannot achieve total accuracy of all data on the site. There will always be some inaccuracies somewhere.
From a user's perspective, community-driven information is largely hearsay. The same is true on e.g. Wiki sites, which experienced users regard as unreliable except where reputable source citations are provided (and even then it is advisable to carefully double-check the facts and claims).
Lamentably, IMDb doesn't even provide a way to include source citations for most types of data. I think they should consider implementing that capability. ... But a lot of information (including a lot of the bio-trivia) often does not come from known reputable sources anyway. It is just hearsay in many cases. That kind of unproven information has never been and never will be reliable.

evidence? Is some data accepted on faith, and assumed true unless proven false?
