Cast member deletions problem

Please note the following two contributions:

Cast - 1 credit corrected, 1 credit deleted

Desi Arnaz, Lucille Ball and Bernard Herrmann DO NOT appear in any archival footage, and DO have the correct "reference-to" keywords. Yet, their names have NOT been deleted from the Cast List.

Is this a change in policy? To be listed in the cast, does there not need to be at least archival footage? When a name is just spoken, or there is only a still photograph, or the name only appears on screen, shouldn't they just have the "reference-to-" keyword?

Our current policy on Archival Footage credits can be found on the following Help Guide: https://help.imdb.com/article/contribution/filmography-credits/archive-footage/G4X4TVH6HXYBW8WM?ref_...#

To clarify, if their names are spoken or an image is shown, this would not constitute eligibility for an archived footage credit. To qualify for an archive footage credit there must include footage that was shot for an earlier (usually unidentified) production, or for archival documentation that is not the specific production it is used in.

If you are certain that the individuals are not featured in footage on this title, please try submitting the deletion request again including an explanation for the removal and our editors will take another look.

You know, when I originally submitted this, I provided the explanation. I was following the above stated policy. Apparently, it was not understood. If necessary, I will resubmit it again! Perplexing. I am "certain," by the way, as you might tell by my comprehensive audit if this title.

This is all unnecessary IF the staff would follow IMDb policy. What's going on? Has the COVID-19 pandemic affected the staff?
