Over the past few weeks I've submitted a number of Cast Verified attributes for titles which already have a Cast Complete. Most of these have not been published, although data that was submitted in the same submission has been processed. Can a staff member investigate please.

The IDs are

180215-160244-895000
180222-163639-011000
180222-164356-434000
180222-164604-149000 (*)
180224-140509-086000
180301-220530-495000
180301-220853-806000 (*)
180301-221134-782000
180301-221326-176000
180301-221926-166000 (*)
180302-102758-519000
180302-102959-617000
180302-103147-917000
180303-162612-360000
180306-092841-791000
180308-120507-801000
180308-120917-700000 (*)
180308-121135-285000
180308-121449-163000 (*)

(*) Denotes a submission with other data that has been published correctly.

The last few were submitted very recently so they may still be in the system, but I've included them so they can be corrected along with all the earlier ones if there is a systematic problem.

I know that it is an error to verify a title that I have previously certified as Cast Complete (someone else must do the verifying in that case), but I don't think that applies to these - maybe I'm wrong...

Unfortunately, IMDb does not list processing time for the "complete" data. Normally, that would be listed here: https://contribute.imdb.com/times

However, I will tell you from my own experience, that these can and do lag other data processing. Also, how are you determining that they have or have not been processed?

I'm determining it from the Reference View page. This distinguishes between no flag "Cast", Complete "Complete, Cast awaiting verification" and Verified "Cast verified as complete".

I'll keep checking those submissions every so often. I keep all the confirmation emails and move them into a "Complete" folder when everything has been published, or else a "Deferred" folder if everything except one rogue item has been published, so I know to check those emails more rarely - maybe every week rather than a few hours after submission.

That's strange; previous versions of the Processing Times page have entries for Complete Cast/Crew (see below), but the current version does not.

Perhaps there are just no unprocessed items.

Yes, this is correct.  At the time the page is updated each day, if there are no items over 24 hours old then the section does not appear.  We are still debating whether this is a bug or a feature :-)

I would consider this a bug Col because as you can see here it causes confusion among your users.

Hi Martin,

I can see the pattern here internally. As you were the initial submitter of the cast complete flag on those titles you cannot also verify the data again if that makes sense, this needs to be submitted by another contributor to help us confirm that at least two users have audited the title.

I hope this helps to explain the situation.

Regards,
Will

Ah! I wondered whether it might have been the case for some if the titles, but I hadn't realised it was the case for all of them. Mystery solved, then. At least it's not a problem with the submission process. I'll take them all off my list of "check this every few weeks" in that case.
