Cast Order of Appearance... Unable to Edit #1-#4

I have input my cast in "order", and now the lead actors (#1-#4) are appearing at the bottom of the page below the day players, or aren't even appearing on the page at all.  When I go to edit the cast section, #'s 1-4 don't appear on the page for me to edit.  My cast members #1 and #2 are celebrities, does this take away my ability to edit their order of appearance on the page? Any advice would be helpful! I'm worried cast members 1-4 will freak out when they see the order of appearance on the page.

There are various ordering mechanisms in place on the IMDb, depending on the title's production stage (in development, filming, released, etc), title type (TV series vs standalone title etc), and the percentage of cast orders that have been entered.

Depending on when the title was last updated you might also see variance in the credit order across the IMDb's different platforms: regular site - standard view, regular site - reference view, mobile site, and Pro.

Because of that variation it's often easier to answer these sorts of questions if we know the title in question.  Is that something you'd be willing to share?

At the moment it looks like the majority of the cast is in credit order, with order #1-4 and #6 missing.

I'm guessing that Walken was only recently added to the IMDb page?  Because different bits of the IMDb update on different schedules there can be a gap between when something appears on the outward-facing pages and when it appears on the editable page.  He should show up on the edit page within a couple days.

For Heard and Dominczyk I can see them on the edit page but they don't currently have a credit order listed.

Based on the missing order numbers it looks like there are couple other cast members who are completely missing from the page?

The IMDb's Data Processing Times page indicates that they're running a bit behind when it comes to movie cast updates - they have about 8K items pending dating back to April 14th.  If you've submitted any cast updates to the page in the past two weeks it would be best to wait until the IMDb has caught up rather than resubmitting.

If you don't have anything pending from that time period then I'd suggest submitting the missing cast members (with their credit order) as well as the order updates for Heard and Dominczyk now, then updating Walken's credit order once he's editable.

Funny, Heard and Dominczyk weren't editable this morning! Thanks so much for looking at that for me.  I will wait for Walken to be editable and change the order there.

As for #'s 3 and 4, they are still not up on the page.  I just made this page yesterday, would you suggest I wait for them to appear - or resubmit them now?

Again, thanks for your help!

For your #3 and 4 cast members I would wait until that Data Processing Page says they're caught up on movie cast (listed as "Filmography: Cast (non-TV)" on the page) before resubmitting.

Good luck!
