Catch 22 - Release Dates and Delete Title

Hey guys,

Catch 22 again.

I made a mistake and posted some projects as completed and released when in fact they weren't.

I see a movie on IMDb that is just homemade and was never made available to the public. Sometimes not even completed.
It says: "Release Dates: X Country, Y date".
But it's incorrect.

I know it because in most instances:

-I was the contributor,
-When I'm not, I worked on the project,
-And finally, there is no evidence whatsoever to prove the project was ever screened or released.

So I explain this and delete the release date (USA/2014 - Delete).

I receive an email saying: Unable to verify, contribution denied

So... On top of the absurdity (since I know better, I, myself, provided the info), how can I prove the IMDb staff that the movie was never released?
They don't even respect their own rules.

If a project was never made available to the public, and, that there is no evidence supporting if it has ever been released (no website, no article, no festival, no link, nothing), they should:
1. Delete the release date
2. Eventually delete the title.

So whether I was the contributor who provided the wrong information or not, the fact no trace of any screening is available on the IMDb title page and the whole internet should be enough, right?

Let me know.

Hi Meredith,

Sure, thanks :)

Here you go (it's several projects).

This one was a homemade/student exercice video and was never released nor published online or made avail to the public in any way.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4537702/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_20

Same for those two.
They have release dates but were never released. There are no links or proof.
For the one I submitted years ago, I did it thinking completed meant released and for some I thought they were gonna be released but were never.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4885230/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_18

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4703610/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_16

Thanks a lot!
