The site incorrectly gives me Finnish content because I am currently located in Finland even though my browser clearly states "Please give me english content".

I'm assuming that you also have the "Title display country" set to an English speaking country such as the United States or the United Kingdom. If so, then the IMDb technical staff need to investigate this further. Regardless, not being able to display content in one's native language is frustrating and makes the IMDb less useful.
