changes in submission policies?

Some of my recent quote submissions have been declined for reasons that I don't understand. I wrote previously here (regarding submission #191128-234204-427000) about one 'failure' that was explained as not meeting submission guidelines (apparently with regard to the material inside square brackets, often referred to as 'stage directions', but widely used as help for the reader in understanding the context of a quote). The responses were supportive of my concern, but ultimately did not explain how the quote failed to 'meet submission guidelines'. Now, my submission #191201-192414-678000 the reason for it being declined is, 'Unable to verify'. In my hundreds, maybe even thousands of quote submissions over the past few years, I can't remember any that were declined for this reason. Is there a new standard being applied? How can a quote from a TV show or movie be verified, other than supplying an audio or video clip (which, most likely, would be a copyright violation)? I need help, here, to guide (inform) my future submissions.

GJ, PhD, Hi.
How is your overall rejection rate over the years? % Wise?
And do you track or look at your work to see if there have been removals of your prior submissions?
(IMDb does not notify you about removals after the fact)
But IMDb does track these statistics!
At some point if submissions vs. rejections and removals reaches a formulatic number that has never been revealed, then your submissions may be automatically be scrutinized at a higher level. This means a higher level of proof is required.
Please do not ask me what that is. It's far to complicated to explain (Type) for my poor two fingers!
This may be just a singular oversight. It may not.

Wait for staff to weigh in.
If you see this post marked answered without a staff member reply, then my explanation is the "Answer"
Otherwise they will explain.
Be patient.
Thanks

P.S. Square brackets are used for link purposes. [link=] nm tt co #s ETC.

You can read more about rejections via the Track Contribution button - https://contribute.imdb.com/contribution/191201-192414-678000/?ref_=ra_his_wa

Thank you in advance.

I can only assume that a 'bot wrote this. The link takes me to the
same page where I first read that the submission was Declined,
with the same non-helpful explanation. (In other words, I still don't
know what was wrong with the submission.) If IMDb has any real
people reading this, please respond. I want to continue submitting
quotes and trivia, but I don't like wasting time. J<<
