changing my bio on profile

I want to change my bio on profile page but when I click 'save changes', the page reloads but the info stays the same, my changes don't get accepted.

The only reason that I can think of is that you have entered more than 10,000 characters (which includes spaces, punctuation, emoticons, etc). The Bio section of your profile is limited to that number according to the Help Pages.
