I'm currently watching a 2008 episode of The Royal which is titled Stolen Dreams and can be found here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1282211/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_i581

I was interested to know who played the mother in the Armley family and noticed an obvious mistake...

Derek Armley is the dad of the family. He's played by Giles Ford who is in his mid-40's at least and can be seen here https://www.spotlight.com/interactive/cv/1/M47034.html

Janet Armley is the mum of the family. She's played by Eve Steele who is 47 years old today.

Milly Armley is the baby of the family literally as she spent most of the time crying in a pram. She's played by Emilly Thornton who's age is unknown, but can be no older than 14 years old today.

And then there's the mistake Simon Armley who is the son of the family. The kid is no older than 14 years old, is a haemophilia sufferer and is injured when an amusement arcade collapses on him. He should be no older than 24 years old today.

However according to IMDB that little boy from Yorkshire was played by an American man called James Noble who was born in 1922 and died in 2016. His profile is here https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0633595/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t23

I'm not sure which James Noble is the correct one, or even if he's on IMDB at all, but is definitely not the man above who died aged 94 years old.

So I've gone to the episode, pressed edit, pressed correction, deleted the old guy called James Noble, and added a newly created James Noble (as I'm 99% sure the other 6 James Noble actors on IMDB are too old to have played that little boy, and only one of them seems to be from England).

Is that all I need to do? Will correcting it on the episode page also delete it from the dead actors page, and correct it on the overall TV series' page too?

If you have submitted your change, yes that is all you have to do. Once processed, yes, the change should have the effect you describe.
