I don't understand why title corrections of Charlotte a du fun: Charlotte has fun (2018) to "Charlotte a du fun (2018)" keep getting rejected (190405-021508-989000, 190410-155300-664000). "Charlotte a du fun (2018)" is clearly the only acceptable title for the film, for it is "the original title of a movie/show in its original language as it appears on screen (on the title card) in the opening credits" as stated in the IMDb Submitting Guides: Title formatting.

Screenshot of the opening title:

Not only does it not comply with IMDb's policies, the current title "Charlotte a du fun: Charlotte has fun" is such a bizarre and unusual choice in multiple ways.
  • The Québécois film isn't even known as "Charlotte Has Fun" in any region, English-speaking or otherwise. It was sold to distributors, screened at these festivals, and released in the US under the title "Slut in a Good Way". "Charlotte Has Fun" is certainly plausible as a literal English title in the Alternate titles section, but that's not what's happening here.
  • Even when a film shows both a title in its original language and a title in English simultaneously during the opening credits, which is a common practice for e.g. Asian movies but isn't the case for this film, IMDb usually uses the title in the original language as the primary title as far as I've seen.
  • The subtitle is not in title case. When a movie title in its original language consists, partly or solely, of an English phrase, which isn't the case for this film, it is usually shown in English title case (i.e. capitalizing every word except for short function words).
  • It uses a colon to separate the subtitle. When a French-language film has a subtitle, which isn't the case for this film, IMDb usually uses a hyphen to separate it unless the on-screen title uses a specific type of punctuation.
I'd like some explanation.
