Just looked at the top 250 list and the sublists. There are a lot of genres, but why not a top 100 with christmas movies?

While movies with a Christmas element can have a keyword entered to acknowledge it, Christmas isn't really a genre. You can, though, search those with the keyword:
Features, TV Movies and Specials, by user rating:
http://www.imdb.com/search/title?at=0&keywords=christmas&sort=user_rating&title_type=fea...
There are other related keywords you could also use, "christmas tree," etc.
I used "advanced search." At the search box, change "all" to "advanced search," then select "advanced title search."
(I dunno how this one slipped through...hope you weren't holding your breath for a reply!)

Would support Martin T's idea to have an official Christmas genre list. There's a significant body of work which would fit it.
