I bought an app that promised 4000+ movies for free but what I got was just watch the trailers not the movies which I consider false advertising!!!! I want my ten bucks back or I will get Jesse because this is absolutely ridiculous!!!!

I'd go back to whomever sold it to you and ask for your money. IMDb is a database of information. It is not for watching movies. They don't charge for watching movies. There's no charge to use IMDb unless you subscribe to IMDb Pro to have a resume or headshot or other business related features.

Where did you find this "app"?

I found it in the App Store when I typed in "free movies"
The app is somehow affiliated with Imdb because every time I wanted to watch something it opened a web page to IMDB so I would like some help figuring out who ripped me off.... Here is his name... halil gres. He is the seller listed on my I tunes purchase info. email and so I have already been charged for the purchase and would really like for some assistance in the matter of regaining my $10. If you could reply A.S.A.P. with an answer that would help me out a lot in my investigation.

I just found another app by a different guy with a similar layout and it turns out they are the same exact app just two different front page layouts but when you click on the different collections of movies in the app it turns back into the other app... You will need to download both free versions to understand what I am talking about.... One is called 'advanced cinemas' and the other is 'mobile cinemas' the second app pic is a gold movie reel and the first is some theater curtains.... If you could spend the time to download the free versions of both you can understand better of what I mean. And it is a scam... They just keep reproducing the same app and changing the name of the guy who is selling it....

Thanks for the help,
Taylor

Just because it opens up an IMDB page doesn't mean it has anything to do with the site, anyone can do that an a lot of people use IMDB as a reference source.

If they are saying they are an official IMDB product, or that they have been endorsed by them, then it'd need to be checked out (you should provide a link), otherwise this is something you need to take up with Apple, and perhaps your credit card company (if you paid with a credit card you might be able to get it back).
