Click here to copy existing credits from the series or other episodes

Hello.

When adding a new TV series, you have to add some cast. These persons will then not be added to a specific episode, but will be listed as cast on the page.

If I then add an episode, under cast I have the option: "Click here to copy existing credits from the series or other episodes.", why does then not the previous added cast show up here to choose from?

Because it looks at the cast from the episodes only.
The series level button is inoperable. Has been an issue for almost 10 months.
Since it cant look at series level cast it can only look at episode level cast listings.
There are none on this title. You will have to manually enter the episodes in and after that enter the cast on at least one episode. Then that function will work on Year and Season level, showing the available cast members.
