IMDB, Freeform has renewed Cloak & Dagger for a second 10 episode season in 2019. Please update the main page on the net to reflect this

The information on the show receiving a second season is already mentioned in at least seven news items in the title's News section. Cloak & Dagger's main title page will likely be updated after the first season's final episode has aired, which means an IMDb representative or a contributor will need to submit a new episode page for season 2. This will be a temporary placeholder page with very little data except for the episode number (#2.1) and a release year (2019). The rest of the data will be added either in post-production or after the episode has aired.

I went ahead and added bare-bones placeholders for the 10 episodes of season 2. They should be live tomorrow.

You don't actually add a new season. You just add the new season using episodes using numbers with the new season. For example, for Cloak and Dagger you would add episode 2.1. The backend will create the new season.
