There is somebody named Colin Moore in the system who has a ridiculous string of Producer credits for the one show he has worked on.

(watchable executive in charge - 5 episodes, 2016) (Watchable Executives In Charge - 2 episodes, 2016) (watchable excutive in charge - 2 episodes, 2016) (Watchable Executives in Charge - 1 episode, 2016)

Are these real producer credits?  It looks like a bunch of nonsense to me.  Thanks for any help.

Brett: Colin's credits probably are meaningful, but somewhat garbled. According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Want_My_Phone_Back, the show "I Want My Phone Back" was originally produced for a streaming service called Comcast Watchable, which I had never heard of before. So I assume that Colin was an executive who was in charge of this show for Comcast Watchable (as opposed to being an executive in charge who is able to be watched).

Comcast Watchable dropped the show after 10 episodes (it was later picked up by Facebook Watch), so presumably the 10 episodes listed here are all that Colin was involved with.

I do not know what the correct format of his title should be, but presumably the capitalization, spelling, and pluralization of the words in his title should be consistent among all 10 of the episodes.

That was a quick, thorough and on point response.  Thank you, Gromit.

But I guess that brings up a secondary question...

Should we be entering producer credits with exact on screen punctuation/capitalization?  Because honestly I have not been doing so.  I was under the assumption that they were all to be lowercase with the exception of company names such as "producer: MTV" or "executive producer: Lighthouse Entertainment."

Thanks for any clarification you can give regarding this because I like to be accurate.

Brett: I'm going to leave that to the IMDb staff to answer. I tried to find the episodes in question online to see exactly how Colin Moore was credited, but I could only find the Facebook Watch seasons, not the Watchable season.

Hi Brett -

To clarify, an occupation should be listed in lowercase letters, such as: 'executive producer', 'writer', 'director', etc.  However, you are correct when the occupation includes a company name, the company should be capitalized.

The credits you reported for "Colin Moore" have been adjusted to meet our guidelines, the changes should be live on the site shortly.  Cheers!
