Hello
For six months or so, no matter which IMDB page I am looking at, I only have a few seconds to view it before my page redirects http://www.imdb.com/find?q=&s=all without me touching anything.

I have Windows 7 64 bit, and use Google Chrome 28.0.1500.95

This is the only website that I encounter this problem with.

Google reveals nothing so I imagine it must be a problem on my end. Has anyone ever had this issue before?

I do not recall anyone reporting this problem before. I did a quick search of chrome on this site and did not see any other reports of this redirect.

Are you having the same problem using another browser on your computer such as Fox Fire, Opera or Internet Explorer?
Does this happen you are logged out of your account?
If you have access to another computer, it would be helpful to go to http://www.imdb.com from that computer.

This problem may be very difficult to replicate.

Thank you Dan for taking the time to respond.
It seems that this is a Chrome-specific issue for me, even with no plugins. Come to think of it, I am mistaken - this happens with Chrome and TD Bank's website too.
Firefox does not seem to have this problem. I will just stick with firefox for my IMDB needs - seems the simplest. Also I could try Chrome forums as this is unlikely a iMDB problem if you have never heard of it and we cannot find the same problem anywhere. I don't have an IMDB account because last I checked, you need a credit card or facebook or something that I didn't have :)
Again I appreciate your time and energy, keep up the good work, cheers mate!

You don't need to do the further authentication if you don't want to add data or use the message board. You can also use a mobile phone to authenticate and, if you don't have one yourself, most people know someone who'd let you use their number (it only sends a message to them, so costs them nothing).

You also don't need Facebook to sign up an account - you can sign up just using your email address or using your Google account too. Lots of options. If you are using the site quite a bit, it'd be an idea as you can rate films, make lists, etc.
