copy to watchlist not working

"We're sorry; an error occured and we were not able to complete your task. Please try again."

Sometimes lists become temporarily unavailable and it is often just a matter of waiting and trying again later.

This appears to be a temporary problem, as Emperor pointed out. I've had this problem on occasion when my internet connect and/or IMDb is responding slowly.

I checked out adding a film to a watch list and did not have any problems.

If you continue to have problems, you may need to clear your cache (history) or may need to reboot your PC.

If none of the above work, please let us know. Please provide the following information: device, operating system and browser.

However, the problem could be very difficult to track.
