Copyright holder in production companies section

Could you ask the data managers to delete this copyright holder from the production companies section please. Thanks.

Hi nac -

I reviewed the submission and noted that it was not accepted as the explanation for removal was not clear enough for our editors to make the change.  If the company, Jovera Pictures AG/SA, was not credited as a Production Company on this title, but was instead credited as a Copyright Holder, you will need to request the removal of the incorrect credit again, this time including a more detailed explanation for the removal, and submitting the correct Copyright Holder credit under the 'Copyright Holder' list.

Once you have re-submitted the request with a detailed explanation, our staff will then take another look.  Cheers!

I'm not sure what more information is needed here. The company is a copyright holder, it's in the production companies section. Copyright holders belong in box office and business, not production companies. What more information do they want?

Based on their company page Jovera Pictures AG/SA appears to be a production company, are you able to provide any information confirming they didn't produce this title but instead only held the copyright?

A screen grab of the end credits will usually list all copyright holders and production companies - we can review these and make any changes necessary.

Let me rephrase your question; did the person who added Jovera as a production company, have any evidence that it was a production company and not just a copyright holder?

The opening credits are on Youtube where Jovera is listed as the copyright holder, but it's hard to read

That doesn't prove that it wasn't a production company, but the fact that these were added as production companies (but not copyright holders), suggests that whoever added them didn't understand the distinction.

Just to clarify, shouldn't a company which is a ciopyright holder be listed in Miscellaneous companies? I mean, there is, of course a Copyright Holder field in Business (by the way, is it accessible anywhere on the page without entering "Edit page" or IMDb Pro?), but such field is for verbatim transcription of copyright notice, usually...

I don't think so as there is a note in the company guide that says, "Copyright holders belong in the copyright holder list."

It's true that you could argue that the copyright data should be proper, cross-referenced credits, but that's not how it's set up.
