What is the correct category for the credit "parking coordinator"? I am seeing it listed on different filmographies under Location Department, Transportation Department, & Miscellaneous crew.
Once it is determined which category is correct, IMDb should do a mass cleanup to move all existing credits to the correct category.

Please remember that the credits are a reflection of a titles end credit sequence - you may be credited in any of those mentioned departments.

This question is not about my personal credits. It is about me adding/editing credits as a contributor. When I am looking at the on-screen credits for a film, and someone is credited as "parking coordinator," I do not know which department in which to add it. Many of the films I am looking at do not specify the overall department. Someone is just credited as "parking coordinator" during part of the credit scroll with no clear department. I need to know which department is the standard department in which to add these credits.

All three are correct. You could be the P.C. for the Location Dept. You could be the P.C. for the Transportation Dept. You could be the P.C. in misc crew if there are none of the previous two departments officially on a title.

Vincent, is the ”parking coordinator” credit maybe ”bundled” together with some Transportation Dept. credits (like drivers etc)? Maybe in that case Transportation Dept. could work.
One thing is also to check how many credits are listed to different departments. For what it’s worth (parking coordinator):
- Other Crew = 193
- Transportation Department = 58
- Location Department = 41
So it seems that ”Other Crew” is perhaps the safest choice if you’re not sure.

While Other Crew seems to be the leader, I would think Transportation is actually the correct department. Unfortunately, Joel's response didn't really clear that up any.
