I'm trying to get the dates corrected for the title: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2270456/
It has a completion date of 15 Jan 2017 while released date is Feb 13, 2016.
So that makes no sense. In fact, the movie was completed in August 2016 and is not released yet and we are looking for distributors.
So I need to remove all release dates and make the status from released to completed.
Also, want to remove the pro and post production dates and filming dates. Those are also inaccurate.
I tried to edit all these from my Pro account but was not able to do it.
Please help.

I cant seem to locate your name associated with this film anywhere. Are you one of the producers?

The first public screening determines the year of release in IMDb. So you can't change the year, and you can't remove valid screening dates.
You may be able to delete the German screening if it wasn't public.
I don't think the production status dates can be edited retroactively. It's more like a record of the listing's history.

Thanks for letting us know. We are cleaning this up a bit for you now. In theory you are not supposed to be able to submit a "Completed" status for something which has already been released so we need to check what happened there.

I just submitted my title Evidence of Things Seen today. In the information, I listed release for 2017 as we plan to enter the film in festivals later this year...once the film is completed. On my form, I also listed the film as being in pre-production and added the description: Filming: March 2017. However, the listing has the project listed in my past projects section as if it's already been filmed, gone through post and released. None of that has happened. We're casting. I clicked the "edit" button on the film's page, which took me to another page where there was a "continue" button. I clicked it. The site appeared to be loading a new page...but it didn't. It stayed on the same page. Can you assist me with this?

Tanisha: I wonder if the production status information has not gotten processed yet.
Please post your last full data submission here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database. (Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 170123-123456-789000.)

Note: if the title or name you are trying to update was added to the database only recently, it may not yet be available for updates. Please try again in a few hours.

One thing I don't understand is why this question is tacked on the end of a 'solved' thread.

I was just trying to reach the person who helped the original poster here. That is why. Starting new topic.

No worries, staff read all the posts. I think your title is still processing that's why you can't edit it.
