The Movie title for our film is listed as "Flying Paper (2012)" However this is not correct as the film is being released this year. Is there a way to change to title to "Flying Paper (2013)" or drop the date in the title altogether so it just reads "Flying Paper" either will be fine, but the 2012 is affecting our profile for prospective distributors who see the film as a year older than it is. Any help would be most appreciated.

The dates are actually all correct on the entry itself, except for the uppermost year:

Have you updated the date or production status recently? If so it might be you only need to wait for it all to correct itself (and it will all display properly when it is released, as it will be soon). It might be staff can take a look into this and make sure everything is displaying correctly.

We did recently update the release date and production status. I'm hoping this will correct the issue, though we did this previously and it did not make a difference. May need staff intervention

You can get the ID for that submission from here:
http://www.imdb.com/updates/history
So you can copy and paste it into this thread for staff to check on it.

Thanks for you advice. My reference is 140429-220437-880200 and my concern is that the title is dated 2013 and the updated release date is 2015. I am potentially screening at Raindance 2014 and I am worried that the old title date will put off distributors who may think the film has already had a release. John Owen / Director. Many thanks

@John Owen,
I'd recommend starting a new thread rather than add it to this year old, completely unrelated discussion.
Your new issue will get better attention on its own.
Adding a new release date should update the year in the title. But, if for some reason it didn't, you should post, as you did, to have staff check it and find out why it didn't update based on your submission.
Good luck!
