In one of your section I read if someone has a feature film to his credit, the short film will be automatically removed from his 'known for' title in search name. But in my case, the short film is not replaced by my feature film title. Why ?

Rajesh: The "known for" titles are determined by an algorithm which is known only to some IMDb employees. They keep the algorithm a secret to avoid having people try to manipulate what films a person is "known for".

So we cannot say definitively that feature films will replace short films when it comes to determining what a person is "known for".

As gromit82 noted, IMDb does not indicate what the actual algorithm is.
We do know, however, that the popularity of the Title or length of it is only part of the criteria. They have noted that the Job is important, as is the relative position in the Cast (since cast is most often listed by 'importance', at least partly).

I have no evidence for this, but my guess is that the jobs with the most weight will be Cast (starring), Director, Producer, and Writer. My reasoning for this is that most people are interested in the people they see on screen, so this type of credit will be heaviest weighted. However, in a lot of cases Directors are followed by film fans who like either them or their style - think Hitchcock or Franco. Producers are also often also known for working on specific types of films.

Directors, Actors, Producers and Actors are the people who most set the style of a film, so people may be more likely to know then for their work.

The Known For section is not shown in the default version of your page, but the top three titles are shown on your Pro page:
KNOWN FORĀ  Extra Curricular Activities at the Office (2007) | Giraft (1995) | Red Carpet (2007)

For all three of these you are credited as Director, Producer and Writer, which probably is a large part of the reason why they were chosen. I have no way of knowing why they were chosen in that sequence, or over other items where you also had the big three credits.
