I submitted a correction of a cast member credit. You said it was approved, but 10 days later it is still not updated on the movie's full cast page.

Hello Marvin, please post the 18-digit reference number of the submission so a representative can review and respond to the inquiry.

Please check the status of that submission on
https://contribute.imdb.com/contributions/history

If it really shows "Approved", then please post the 18-digit Contribution ID here.

If it shows "Declined", it will also usually give a reason.

Hi Marvin -

I just reviewed the credit and can see that the cast credit has since been updated to the character name "Abe": https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0065214/fullcredits?ref_=tt_cl_sm#cast

Cheers!

It still says Walt LaRue. Here is why I think Abe was played by Tap Canutt. The movie was made in 1968. LaRue was 50 at the time. Abe is much younger. Also, there is a photo of the Wild Bunch put out by the studio, and it says clear as day, Tap Canutt.  You have Tap Canutt as playing a "Burt". When they are robbing the railroad office at the beginning, Pike Bishop (Holden) addresses Canutt's character by Abe.
Go to this link and scroll down to the 13th image. All the actor's names are underneath of the group that originally rode into Starbuck at the opening and took part in the holdup. The tall young actor in the back right is Tap Canutt. The caption on the attached photo ID's him. He is the one Pike(Holden)
calls Abe. When Pike is getting everyone ready to shoot their way out, He says "Lyle with Dutch. Buck with Abe" Buck was Rayford Barnes, the only gang member in civvies during the holdup. You can see Barnes and Canutt sort of pair up, as do Lyle (Oats), and Dutch(Borgnine).

Maybe LaRue played one of the railroad deputies who pursued the bunch. Maybe Holden made a mistake when he addressed Canutt's character as Abe during the holdup. Since he was a minor character, maybe they just didn't correct it. I'd love to meet and talk to Bo Hopkins. I'm sure he could clear up things.
