Correction to 'Taking Woodstock' quote

I just tried correcting a quote on the page for 'Taking Woodstock' but for some reason it was rejected so I'll post it here instead. The start of the quote reads:

[Elliot is spreading the white bedsheets into a giant X on the lawn to flag down Michael Lang's helicopter]

But this is wrong. What I tried to add was:

NOTE: A close look at the scene will show that the helicopter target is actually a peace symbol. Elliot only called it an X to keep his mother from getting upset about it (though she did anyway).

IMDb needs to make adding to one of their pages much easier if they want to maintain a good standing with their users.

Hi Chris M.-

Your submission would have been rejected due to formatting, if you are adding/updating stage directions, the content will need to be placed in square brackets, for example:

[The kitchen door slams shut]

I would encourage you to review our Quote formatting rules and guidelines here and make sure that your submission is in-line and resubmit.

It now appears IMDB is rejecting content within square brackets. The warning I just got is

"This item has been rejected. You need to correct this item before it will be accepted. Please do not use (brackets) in your quotes."

So what is the proper procedure?

Hi Chris M,

I just updated the text in that stage direction from an X to a peace symbol now. Paul I just tried to submit a quote with a square brackets stage direction description with no problem, please could you add a screenshot of you experiencing the error and I can investigate further?

Regards,
Will
