I am part of the main cast and I am listed on the call sheet before the character (goon) who you currently have at (35) in which i shared the scene with. He is actually #39 on the call sheet and i am #38. I have a copy of the call sheet that will show this to be a fact. Fully credited and under contract for multiple days and a day of ADR. I am even scene in the tailor #2 and i will give you the link and time stamp.please do not disregard this as i work extremely hard to earn everything i have and deserve the correct recognition. I dont know how to send the call sheet but if you provide a way to add a document i will do so. Min 1:12 in the velor suit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dtObSxBOCkM&t=12s

Hi, Marcus Lewis.

As I see, your job in Shaft (2019) is uncredited that means is not mentioned in the video sequence of this movie. In such cases, the IMDb system preserves no particular order when listing the names on a title page.

Hope this helps

I don't understand how you can tell me that i am uncredited though. especially when i am above and in the same scene as someone that you are giving credit to. i have presented you with the call sheet that shows this. my role and scene is very prominent in this film and i deserve credit for my work. to report that actors are uncredited when they clearly are is a slap in the face of the hard work that they put forth. what else does one have to do to get there work credited?

I'm not the official staff to explain how the job under your name is submitted as "uncredited". But as a contributor, I explained that it is actually has status "uncredited" in the base, this may be checked here:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4463894/fullcredits

If the video sequence includes your job credited, then this mistake should be corrected by editors. If not credited, then it stays as it is according to the official guidelines (link is clickable):
The (uncredited) attribute is used to indicate that a person's name does not appear in the main or end titles of a title. A typical example is when a famous actor has an unbilled cameo appearance in a movie.

Uncredited appearances in a movie or show can be extremely difficult to verify, as they do not conform to IMDb's general principle for cast; we always follow the onscreen credits. Likewise, none of the following have any bearing on whether they were, by our definition, credited: pay stubs, call sheets, agent listings, press mentions, resumes, and their visibility on screen. The only thing that matters is the actual, onscreen credits. If their name was not on screen, but they were in the movie or show, they were uncredited.
IMDb has no possibility to influence the producers in the process of crediting the cast.

PS: Moreover, after further investigation, I see Marcus Lewis is credited as stunt performer. If both "Marcus Lewis" (cast and stunt) are one and the same person, then the "uncredited" cast record must be deleted according to IMDb rules because one and the same person can not be listed twice for one and the same job.

PPS: usually, I don't have an eye on the bills and call sheets attached, but in the initial post now I see the "Crew Call" published, so again, the "uncredited" cast record must be deleted. The initial claim is beyond of my understanding, sorry.

MAthePA stunt departments do have exceptions at times, for example if person is credited in stunts but was also a stunt double for particular actor in numerous sequence that grants both uncredited stunt double listing and stunts listing. See Batman (1989) for example.

It is true that cast members erroneously credited as stunts (I am honestly amazed that this is not an uncommon mishap) often only get the credited part in the stunt department and there was once an actor on GS, David Frisch, whose "stunt" was merely standing in the shot. It should be noted, though, that such situations are often viewed in case-to-case scenario and we should wait IMDb staff's official answer in this particular case as well.

Hi All -

Just to clarify, we are accepting of cast credits in these situations when we can verify that the individual performed a character-based role on the title, in addition to a stunt performance.

Marcus - concerning the credit order issue, as MAthePA mentioned earlier in this thread, since your cast role wasn't credited on-screen, you cannot add a credit order number for your credit, and the display for 'uncredited' cast members will then usually default to STARmeter order.

Michelle-I worked in Stunts in multiple places in the show, and then was given a character ROLE for two scenes with Dialogue as Meat headed goon. I just spoke with my agent yesterday because I was completely left of the cast list and stunt list by accident. The two scenes were over four minutes on the final cut. I was also featured in the trailer As I have documented with this post. My agent is reaching out to SAG-AFTRA to get things corrected. I have provided the call sheet that showed the other characters in the same scene that we’re given credits. It even shows that my call number is above the character of goon and that’s the only reason why I asked for my order number to be above his on the listing. I understand that productions make mistakes all the time and that’s why am working to get it corrected, as I am doing the same with the IMDb listing. Please let me know if there’s anything I can do to help straighten everything out. Thank you

Hi Marcus,

Unforunately  it is IMDb policy to go by the end credits released on the title, therefore as Michelle states an order number shouldn't be applied to a cast role that wasn't credited on-screen.
