Credit has not been corrected -- IMDb won't update - have press coverage and screengrab

For what feels like a long time now I've repeatedly been trying to update the credits of the film I wrote, directed, and produced, KISS KISS FINGERBANG. My IMDb credits on the film's page and my page both say "credited as Gillian Horvat", which is not true. In all three instances I was credited as "Gillian Wallace Horvat."

Would someone at IMDb please update this. I've been going through all these different channels since February!

The update references for this problem are: 150206-113410-739000 150207-003157-245000 150404-211422-467000 150404-211557-302000

This is verified and supported by my credits in the SXSW catalogue:

http://schedule.sxsw.com/2015/events/event_FS18473

And with this Variety news coverage:

http://variety.com/2015/film/festivals/sxsw-film-awards-krisha-peace-officer-win-grand-jury-awards-

And attached is a screengrab from the film:

Do you have a video clip of credits rolling? i assume they're not changing as they might have had a screen grab to go by. What you posted tells little. The links to other sites don't matter as what's shown in the credits is what needs documentation.

There is nothing to indicate what that screen cap might be from without any other credits shown. If you can't make a video capture of the credits rolling and provide a link, could you at least post other credits to provide other names to indicate what it might be from?

If not, staff can decide if that's enough..but I think it'd help. I don't know why someone would have added the attribute for (as...) if he/she was not looking at the credits. It's just odd for that to have been added if your name appeared differently.

Thanks so much for your reply!

I made a low-res clip of the credits and put it up as a link. Do you know what my next step now is to getting IMDb to fix my name?

You created that or you captured it from the film's on screen credits?

Why is the lettering different from the single shot you posted above?

Seems odd. But next step is staff here would forward that to the page editors for consideration.

Can you clarify...which submission number is the most recent for a removal of the "as.." attribute?

The above clip is an excerpt from the film exported at low-res with mpeg streamclip.

The lettering is identical to the screengrab, but I think what you're seeing as different is that the screengrab has crisper resolution b/c it's a .png image of the hi-res film file, while the vimeo clip is lo-res. Maybe that's why it looks different, but I promise you the lettering has always been the same!

The latest submission numbers are 150404-211422-467000 for the director credit and 150404-211557-302000 for the producer and writer credit.

Thank you!

I see. But what I see is, in the first screen grab, the name is different color than the title. In the video they are not. The font is the same.

But anyway...it's up to page editors and the video give context, so that's helpful to them.

Not sure why it's different for you but they look 100% identical to me

The "Written, Directed and Produced by" part has a bluish tint and the name is pure white, just to me, I guess!

Bluesman, obviously, it's a different resolution. That would make smaller letters appear darker. It's a trick of the eye. Try watching a show called, "Brain Games". Leaves aren't really green even though you see green. The brain is a trickster.
