I am the Executive Producer of a film. Someone keeps tampering with the actor credit orders.
I have made all of the official corrections (again). Can someone here push this through in a speedy manner? I had this problem a few months back and came here to have it corrected.
I wish IMDb could lock the credits after a certain period.

Hi Jeff,
It is IMDb policy to reflect the order of the credits as they appear on screen which is correct in this case, for more details please see this guide.

Will

Hi Will, to prevent having the same conversation again.
Could you see my last post from a few months back.
IMDb sided with me and corrected it in the end.

We have a case where extras are credited before lead cast. There were a lot of issues with the person doing the credits, language barrier was just one of them. Would have cost too much to go back and correct once we had pic lock.
Thanks Will,
Jeff

IMDb policy is to list the credits as they appear in the end credit list on every title.
Thank you for understanding.

Will, a lot of people worked hard on this film. It’s not fair that they look like they weren’t anything significant via credits. People who were barley in the film are out in front. Most people don’t look at rolling end credits, they look at IMDb. I’m getting calls from other actors about it as well. It’s not fair on them due to the incompetence of one person. Please reconsider.

Maybe you should have thought about that when constructing the end credits? This has always been the policy of IMDb and makes for the most consistent policy; otherwise, people could credit people however they wanted them to appear and any subsequent editor would have no idea what order was used. Using the end scroll is the only way for every data editor to be on the same page.
