Credit Removal

In my attempt to have two credits removed, and not being successful, I was handed a long-thought to be deleted trailer from the film titled Thorns (2007) - as mentioned in the previous post I had originally been a part of the production, but later departed, and was removed from the films credit - sadly the full-length film no longer exist.

I was sent this piece of evidence which I am hoping will suffice in having my credit removed from the IMDB page.

The film's director Morgan Nichols forwarded me this only existing version of a trailer for the film, which shows only his involvement as writer/director - only he is credited.

I wish I had more, but sadly this is all that exists.

Hopefully, this will help - please see link at bottom of the page.

Thanks,

Christopher,

It doesn't matter if the film exists anymore or if that (conveniently found now) trailer is currently the only existing version. uses the first version of the credits... which you provided some time ago...

Yes, I understand that - but what am I supposed to do if my involvement no longer existed? - the trailer was sent to me by the man who directed the film. So why isn't that enough to clear my name of something that I was no longer a part of? I've never had more issues trying to correct information then with the IMDB hierarchy - and it's insanely frustrating.

If I could submit the full film, I absolutely would.

Because your name appears on the original on-screen credits of the film...
what am I supposed to do if my involvement no longer existed?
If that were the case, at most you could fight for a (credit only) attribute attached to your entry (which won't be removed anyway), but that would require you to convince the editors that in fact you were not a writer for the film... and that'll be really hard...

I'm not arguing the fact that I was part of the film when it was first conceived, however when it was finished, and the final credits and everything else was put together, my name was no longer there - one person claimed that title, which was, in this case, Morgan Nichols -

Why is it so easy to add credits to the database? even people who aren't involved in projects can so easily add their names to productions on the database, yet removal, whether proof years ago, or proof recently isn't enough?

So I basically have to live with 2 credits, that I am attempting to prove with the help of the filmmakers yet it won't be corrected/deleted because IMDB just says so?

Where is the fairness and accuracy in that? - It's not as though I am looking to sabotage or remove everything on the site - its simply 2 items, 2 items that went on without me.

Christopher, what did I say in your last post?
Posting this same topic and expecting a different outcome is not going to happen.
The last one was marked answered as this one will be.

You said without a url they wouldn’t change it - well I provided a url to footage from the film Ed. Because I have a wide net - I was able to speak with the films director and get the trailer - a link to the film - what part of that wasn’t clear to you?
