Credited or uncredited?

In cases where the on-screen credits for a programme explicitly includes a line something like "Other crew can be found at production-company-website.com/credits-page-for-programme", should the names and occupations listed on that web page be added to IMDb fully credited, as if they had been included in the on-screen credits? Or should they be listed as (uncredited) since they don't appear directly in the on-screen credits?

Thanks

Phil G,

The IMDb rule of submitting credits as displayed in the project's opening and closing credit rolls still applies. From your description, the credits from the production company's website should be listed with an uncredited attribute.

The only way those credits can be listed without an uncredited attribute would be if another version of the program is broadcast with the entire credit list.

Please wait for an official response from an IMDb representative. Thanks for posting.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I was thinking too, but thought it was worth checking in case there's an exception to the usual rules when the on-screen credits explicitly link elsewhere.

Phil G,

You may want to write a statement in either the Trivia or Crazy Credits categories about the uncredited attributes for many crew members being listed on the production company's website.

Hi there, GMJ is correct, if the role is not listed in the credits, it must be listed as (uncredited). Thank you.
