However, when you use the browser Back feature, the name filled into the first box becomes the one previously entered in the 2nd box, and the original name is lost.

HOWEVER, the first box is now filled with nm0001471
Same thing happens when you start at the Collaborations search: the first name id is dumped and the second is retained in the first box.
The best fix would be to retain BOTH in their original boxes, and display the name instead of the ID.
