Dear Staff, Why is this problem recurring with adding my credits?

Dear Staff, first and foremost, thank you for your time. I do sincerely appreciate it and any insight you can offer.

I doubt that you remember, because I'm sure you read thousands of posts, but for a very long time (years!), I couldn't get any of my credits added to the database. After several years of posting evidence here on this board, that finally changed, and I was able to get my credits approved without having to prove myself. My body of work speaks for itself, and I NEVER add anything that is false. Accuracy and making the database as strong and valuable as possible is always, and has always, been my goal.

There are many threads pertaining to the issues I had. See one of them here: https://getsatisfaction.com/imdb/topics/dear-staff-why-does-this-continue-to-happen

Now, the problem seems to have returned. What is going on? I have over 100 credits, all of which have been vetted and proven, and once again, my submissions are not accepted, whereas my peers have no issues at all. What is going on and what can be done, if anything, to improve this situation, so that I don't take up any more of your valuable time to make this process easier for me?

Thank you Kindly for your assistance.

Hi Stephen -

Thanks for your feedback.  As noted in the previous thread, there is nothing wrong with your IMDb account that would prevent your submissions from being approved, the only thing to note is that for top titles (films and TV) we are a bit more cautious when vetting data for these titles, and sometimes will require further evidence be provided before approving these credits.

When submitting your credit information, know that you can now include an Explanation to accompany your submission, if you find this useful you can post evidence links directly there or include any relevant comments that may help our editors review your submission.
